Hemp is the strongest, most durable, and longest lasting natural soft
fiber on the planet. Hemp doesn’t wear out, it wears in. It’s easy to
clean and becomes better with age.
Hemp is grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides, and is
completely biodegradable which is excellent for our planet. One acre of
hemp can produce 4 1/2 times the amount of paper as one acre of trees in
a much shorter time period and can be grown in almost any climate.
Nondestructive hemp could reduce our need for trees as a resource all
together -- eminently necessary when only 3% of our ancient forests are
left in the world. Hemp is the solution to many of the problems that we
are facing in the modern world: deforestation, acid rain, the green
house effect, erosion, pollutants, starvation and limited fossil fuels.
Hemp has served as the standard fiber for the human race for thousands
of years. Materials made from hemp have been discovered dating back to
8000 BC. The Egyptian Pyramids could not have been made without hemp,
Christopher Columbus sailed to America on ships rigged with hemp sails
(hemp was growing on U.S. shores), Betsy Ross sewed the first American
flag out of hemp, and the very first pair of Levi’s jeans were made of
hemp in California.
Hemp has been estimated as having over 25,000 potential uses. Just to
name a few: food, fuel, building materials, and medicine.
Hemp is not marijuana!

Note on sizing: Hemp clothing is designed to fit snugly when you first
try it on. Wear it an hour and it will quickly conform to your body
shape. It is best if your hemp shirt or pants run small rather than
loose initially since hemp fabric naturally becomes larger and softer
over time and will become more and more comfortable with age and wear.
We recommend not washing your hemp garments too often or more than
necessary to achieve the ultimate comfort, the best fit, and to conserve
water all at the same time. You will love how you feel in these clothes.
